It is 1813 and marriage is a most serious business. Mrs Bennet from Jane Austen’s novel Pride and Prejudice invites you to hear her story.
Pray join her for an afternoon of lively parlour games, genteel gossip and delicious tea and cake. Mrs Bennet’s wit, worries, and wisdom promise to entertain and enlighten her audience in this one woman show. Will she secure husbands for her daughters ?
Will she reveal the real pride and prejudice? Will she find compassion for her famously delicate nerves?
The show will be performed by Rachel Fearnehough at the delightful Sitwell Library.
